We that is Robyn & i have just returned from almost two weeks trip up to the small coastal town of Crescent Heads in New South Wales. This year we flew up via Adelaide Sydney & Port Macquarie where we were picked up by a long time friend Roger Fergusson. We stayed with Roger & his wife Linda in their home and we were joined by Alan & Evie Rich from up at Lennox Heads. Alan is a retired surf movie maker and he came down to compete in the over sixty five malibu surf competition. Each year the locals also hold a surf art display that lasts for three days so we managed to help set this wonderful show up. The weather and the surf came good for the three days of surfing. Both Alan & I got through to the semi finals but we were both eliminated. The high light was surfing and meeting with many of the older surfers many of them I have known for forty years. The whole trip was fantastic except Robyn came down with a flue like virus that kept her bed ridden for a couple of days. After Crescents we headed north with Alan & Evie where we spent three nights with them at their home. I love the northern beach area but for me it is far too crowded in the surf for me to want to live there. I prefer to isolation of South Australia west west. I want to tank all you friendly people up there for making our trip an enjoyable one..
