I only had coffee with the abalone diver less than a week ago after a group of us had finished push bike riding. I first  knew the man after meeting him in the Soloman Islands way back in 1988 while up there tuna spotting. He was a keen diver even back then. It is so sad to hear that he had been attacked by two great white sharks. The man was a gentleman liked by all. He will be sadly missed.
